Welcome to my website

Biography

I became a professional musician as soon as I left music college and I
toured the world in bands for five years as a keyboard player and singer. I
had been writing music since I was a child and I eventually realised that
creating music is my greatest strength. So in 1998 I returned to London and
focused purely on composing and it wasn't long before I had a publishing
deal and a recording contract with a major label. This led me to the world
of film and TV where I found that my ability to create strong melodies was
invaluable. To date, I have composed music for many popular TV shows,
created orchestral scores and sound design for leading brands. I have
written pop songs that have entered the UK charts, children's songs that
are sung regularly in UK school assemblies and my sound engineering and
production skills have enabled me to compose, produce and edit over
100 commercials.
My name is Leigh Haggerwood and I am a London-based composer and
songwriter. I create music for many different areas of the media and write
